According to OSHO, awareness is the key to transcend emotions. Once you learn to observe yourself then you will be able to differentiate between positive and negative emotions. Emotions that intensify and fill you when you become aware of it, are positive while emotions that dissipate and dissolve through awareness, are negative. Thus, emotions that grow through awareness are virtuous, and emotions that disappear through awareness are a failing. This is the path to authenticity.
