Simon's famous question of Why? addresses the importance of motivation: what is your purpose, belief, cause. Even though he applies this to organizations or leaders, this concept of motivation can be applied to an individual. Understand why you do what you do? Whether that relates to your actions in your personal life or career. By asking myself the Why, I was able to stop doing what was not beneficial to me and start doing things that I wanted.
