This book provides a really good background on thyroid conditions. It dispels the long standing and accepted medical establishment thinking on the causes of thyroid disease. However, my favourite section was on thyroid resurrection packed with nutritional info and yummy recipes for healing thyroid. Since I started using certain combination of foods, I have come off my thyroid medication that I have been on for 15 years and do not experience any of the typical thyroid symptoms. I have my regular blood work done and although I have not been able to bring my TSH, T3 and T4 to the normal range, I am pretty close.
